About Us
Landworks LLC was established in 1994 to provide Earthmoving and Paving solutions for private, commercial, and government sectors. What sets us apart is our ability to provide all aspects of site work development in-house. From site layout, excavation, underground utilities, concrete slab and curbing, to asphalt paving... NOTHING is subcontracted. We own all of our equipment and are therefore able to ensure that fleet is delivered on-time, is serviced, and ready to work.
Landworks was founded by Jon Polk in Western Kentucky. Beginning with small residential projects and yard grading, Landworks quickly merged into larger earthmoving projects. The growth of the cellular telephone industry fueled work in Kentucky and Tennessee constructing cell tower access roads and pads. Landworks quickly grew into the sitework industry specializing in difficult projects where soil stabilization/rehabilitation was needed. Concrete construction including flatwork and curbing was added to our services in 2008. In 2009 Landworks began providing asphalt paving for both residential driveways and commercial parking lots. This workscope also included parking lot striping and sealcoating in 2010.
Our area of service continued to grow with an expansion into the Middle Tennessee market in 2010. Nashville had explosive growth beginning in 2011 which propelled Landworks into a leading asphalt service provider for Middle Tennessee. Multiple large malls, shopping centers, and churches were completed during 2011. In 2018, we opened a new division in Western Kentucky and Middle Tennessee providing asphalt products and bulk sealcoating materials to area contractors in our 10,000 square foot facility.
In 2019, founder Jon Polk identified many of the same charateristics that fueled the explosive growth in Middle Tennessee coming together along the Gulf Coast. Specifically the area known as Emerald Coast stretching from Panama City to Destin, FL. Right in the middle was a sleepy beach area known as 30A.

A big feat to move over 40 oversize loads of heavy equipment to the Gulf Coast began in late 2019. Santa Rosa Beach is now home to Landworks. We are thrilled to provide many custom builders, comercial clients, and local homeowners with the service we have been known to provide to the Southeast for over 31 years.
